Our Aim
We aim to provide equipment and service at the highest quality and the lowest possible cost to motion picture laboratories worldwide. We strive to support film archives in their task to preserve our heritage by supplying equipment most suited for them to be able to preserve history.
Our History
After having served since 1976 in the Motion Picture Industry as Design Engineer, Sales Manager and International Marketing Manager, Joerg Schweitzer formed his own company FTS International Pty Ltd to provide personalised service to motion picture laboratory customers worldwide.
In 2003 a partnership with Stegbauer Pty Ltd was entered into to form the Cinefilm Supply Company, dedicated to manufacture and supply film processing equipment. Herbert Stegbauer, having been involved with motion picture film equipment since 1969, brought very valuable experience to this venture. Since its formation, the Cinefilm Supply Company has been involved in a substantial number of projects worldwide, including Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, India, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Mexico and Brazil.
In order to meet the demands of modern laboratory requirements, FTS International Pty Ltd has entered distribution agreements with Image Systems AS of Sweden, manufacturers of the Golden Eye 2 film scanner and CCG of Germany, manufacturers of the first LCD Digital Film Recorder. Both machines are not only of benefit to motion picture laboratories but also have proven to be very valuable and successful for film archives.
